LUNA DE COCO
LUNA de COCO was born after I designed every graphical element for my wedding back in 2023.
It is a wedding design and branding hub specializing in all things wedding-related. The brand is named after the Spanish term "luna de miel", which means "honeymoon". But, instead of "miel" (honey), it uses the word "coco" (coconut). Therefore, the visual identity represents the freshness of being a newlywed and the feeling of going on your honeymoon, drawing inspiration from beachy colors and vacation-like elements.
LOGO
The wordmark logo displayed above uses a simple serif type, adapted to create delicate curves that evoke a dreamy sensation, similar to the one many newlyweds experience. It is simple yet sophisticated to attract brides- and grooms-to-be who are looking to personalize their visual wedding identity.
The logo mark features a synthesized coconut structure that is cut out to mimic a moon's silhouette. It is both playful and minimalistic.
ILLUSTRATIONS
With the icons and the pattern, I really wanted to combine magic, beach, and weddings, because that is what I envisioned when getting married. The bliss of being a newlywed and going on your honeymoon is represented by the coconut, the palm tree, and the beach hat; while the other items take a more literal wedding approach with the rings and the invitation.
